Childcare Learning and Development NVQ Level 2

This qualification is designed for people who work with children and young people aged 0 –16 yrs in a child care setting. Level 2 is designed primarily for those who engage in face to face work with children and families in a variety of settings such as: Daycare, Crèches, Pre-school groups, playgroups, community based services.

Who will benefit:

The award is aimed at nursery assistants, crèche workers; special educational needs assistants working in a supporting role

Entry requirements:

Childcare Learning and Development NVQ Level 3

Building on CCLD Level 2 participants will gain further understanding of theoretical perspectives regarding children’s development; the ability to recognise indicators of additional needs; an understanding of how to adapt practice appropriately according to the development needs of children
The award is aimed at childminders, daycare supervisors, SureStart workers and community nursery nurses who may have some supervisory responsibilities

Entry requirements:

Cleaning and Support Services NVQ Level 2

To achieve the Level 2 NVQ in Cleaning and Support Services you must complete 6 units. This is made of 3 mandatory units and 3 optional units.

Mandatory Units:

  • Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety (ENTO)
  • Communicate effectively with customers and others

and either

  • Work as a team and develop yourself

Or

Construction Maintenance Operations NVQ Level 2

A flexible syllabus, enabling training to be tailored to meet specific needs of employers & their employees. This course gives learners the opportunity to build & develop more in depth maintenance skills, covering modules such as health & safety, customer care as well as optional units including brick, woodwork, tiling and plastering.

Contact Centre Certificate NVQ 2

A flexible syllabus, enabling training to be tailored to meet specific needs of employers & their employees. It gives participants the opportunity to build and develop more in depth customer service/sales skills within a contact centre environment.

Who will benefit?:

This qualification will benefit those people who are working in a contact centre environment or those team members who use the phone throughout the working day.

Entry requirements:

Customer Service IMI Level 2 NVQ

A flexible syllabus, enabling training to be tailored to meet specific needs of employers & their employees. It gives participants the opportunity to build and develop more in depth customer service skills within the motor industry, covering modules such as creating a positive representation in customer service, making customer service personal, dealing with customers face-to-face and via the phone, as well as recognising diversity in customer care.

Customer Service NVQ 2

This course delivers practical units on how to prepare for customer service, as well as providing an excellent customer service. It is an ideal course for those working on a reception desk, food and drink service or any other customer facing role.

Candidates will be confident in delivering a quality customer service which exceeds expectations and be able to handle any complaints professionally.

Candidates must achieve 7 units made up of 2 mandatory units and 5 optional units, at least one unit from each theme.

Mandatory units

Customer Service NVQ 3

This course delivers practical units on how to prepare for customer service, as well as providing an excellent customer service. It is an ideal course for those working on a reception desk, food and drink service or any other customer facing role.

Candidates will be confident in delivering a quality customer service which exceeds expectations and be able to handle any complaints professionally.

To achieve a full OCR Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service, candidates must achieve 8 units made up of 2 mandatory units and 6 optional units, at least one unit from each theme.

Dental Nursing NVQ Level 3

What you will study?

The taught programme covers relevant subjects which includes: The role of the dental nurse, reception, clerical and administrative duties, anatomy and physiology, dental anatomy and physiology, pathology and microbiology, causes and prevention dental disease, sterilisation, instruments and equipment, dental drugs and materials, restorative dentistry, minor oral surgery, anaesthesia, emergencies, dental radiography, orthodontics, and Health and Safety at Work.

How you will learn?

Food and Drink Service (Drink only) NVQ Level 2

This course delivers service skills for those working in hospitality and catering. Training covered includes; customer care, food safety and hygiene, team working and drink service.

Who is it for?

The Drink Service is aimed at bar-persons, cellar-persons and possibly bar supervisors across a wide range of catering or hospitality environments. It is also suitable for team members in a quick service environment.
